Today we drove up to Bluejay Lake.
We stopped and swam anywhere that looked inviting.
After cooling off, we hiked a trail that overlooks the Bay.

It was hot in the sun, but a cool breeze blew from the direction we were walking in.

The dogs had to jump in every watering hole. Some were deep.Eventually, we arrived at the overlook:
The dock was the perfect place to rest and look over the water.We spotted, what looked like, two bears across the way.
When we got back to the lake, we needed one more swim.

ur good with the cam. i bet the water's cold. on my trip to no cal, west of redway and garborville on the coast, the road peters out and u can only hike. . . like 24 miles along the coast. cool. we will do that next time. found an ol swimming hole. then on to yosemite and 7 miles in and up to a mt lake (young lake) which was surprisingly warm. now home and almost not sore. :)
damn you for moving. when can I visit?
