A week ago, the local emergency co-ordinator said this project was dead, but after we rallied the town & the outside government, the Sallompt river project went through. By the time it was actually underway, more than half the money was already spent elsewhere.
There should be a wall blocking water flow down the left (new) side. But atleast the right side has been curved out. It should help relieve the next high water.
