We've been hanging out at the estuary these past few mornings.
The salmon are circling the bay, waiting for the rains to flood the rivers, streams and side creeks.
The build-up of fish has attracted all the familiar predators. Some seals were upset at us for approaching. One growled and breached fairly close. We braced ourselves and went closer.

We finally took the hint and went inland.
The water is still, but it's not quiet.
We've never seen so many eagles and other large birds.
